What can you find out about today's animal? It's not a possum this time. Also, did you know that our animal friend can only be found in Australia? I wonder if you can find anything out about another animal that can only be found in one country. Harder than it seems but a great challenge for you or even just find out about an animal that isn't native to our country.

You might like to see if you can draw today's character. There's a lot of rhyming words in today's story. Can you make a list of words that rhyme with different animals? Maybe you could have a go at seeing how many words you can make from the word AUSTRALIA? As a final thought, did you notice that all of the animal's names start with the same letter as what they are 'like Stella the Starfish'. Can you write a list of names for every letter of the alphabet and then try and put an animal after them that starts with the same letter?
