Children in Coral Reef work in small mixed key groupings with a named key person. During the day they have discrete maths and phonics sessions and explore their topic learning through a range of fun exploratory activities from which they can pick - both indoor and outdoor. Alongside this children have regular Forest School and Karate sessions.

Curriculum News
Coral Reef - FSU
- This week we have been talking about our own past, how we have changed from babies to help us understand the idea of growing up. As Historians we sequenced pictures to show the different stages between a baby and an elderly person.
- This week our Monster visitor has been well-behaved; he left us a note with a challenge- to write about some of his monster friends and he had left us some pictures of them.
- We have been busy creating maps of the classroom for the mischievous monster who visited the classroom last week. The Monster told us that he would be making mischief in our classroom, and he did, there was mess everywhere this morning!
