    Pacific

    This week

In Pacific class we were very busy this week. We worked as detectives in Science and investigated a crime; somebody has stolen a pair of diamond earrings. We used our knowledge about light. Some of us have deducted possible culprits but we still have to collect more evidence. We are hoping to solve the problem next week as we need to learn some more facts about light that will help us to solve this case. In Maths we worked hard and practised to subtract 4 digit numbers from 4 digit numbers. We used counters and place value mats to help us to exchange tens into ones , hundreds to tens and thousands to hundreds.

Finally, we started music lessons with two lovely students from St Hugh's College, Oxford University. This week we learned about tempo, dynamics and beat .

A very busy week indeed. Well done everyone for working so hard.
