Anyone between 4 and 14 is welcome to come and take part! Parents/carers are welcome to join in with their children. You can register for free and find more details at parkrun.org.uk/florencepark-juniors
The Porch
I think you have already been thanked for the Harvest food donations that you took to The Porch. But I just wanted to add my thanks too. I am a Volunteer there, a role which I thoroughly enjoy, and I see how important donations are to the centre (and, therefore, to the Members who use the Porch.) Please can you pass this message on to all who contributed.
If you know anyone who might be interested in becoming more involved with The Porch, we are always looking for volunteers (whether on a daily, weekly or monthly basis), please can you ask them to get in touch.
With Christmas approaching, which can be especially hard for the homeless and vulnerably housed, The Porch is making plans to make the "festive season" as good as possible for the Members. Apart from special meals, everyone attending on the 25th will be given a present. I have been asked to seek donations for these gifts. If you know anyone who might like to donate, I have put a list of suitable items below.
With best wishes and many thanks indeed

Children’s Air Ambulance
I am emailing you to see if you and your students would like to spread some sparkle this Christmas and walk, jog or run for our Virtual Santa Fun Run to raise vital funds for the Children’s Air Ambulance!
The official event is taking place on the weekend of 11th – 12th December but we are more than happy for you to choose a weekday close to this that will work best for you, perhaps Friday 10th as a suggestion?
In exchange for choosing to take part as a larger group (class/year group/whole school) we are more than happy to waiver the sign-up fees that we are asking of our general supporters when signing up to this event (£10 for individual, £25 family). As a suggestion to help generate fundraising, each child could bring in a small donation to take part and wear their own Santa hat or Christmas jumper to wear. A small route could be planned out around the school premises in which the students are sponsored for completing in their Christmas attire - you can also set up a JustGiving page through our link here https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/virtualsantafunrun21 to share with parents to sponsor your students.
All the information you need to get yourself signed up can be found by visiting the following link https://events.theairambulanceservice.org.uk/events/santa-fun-run/. Please do share with family, parents, friends and colleagues who you think may also be interested in joining in with the festive fun.
If you’re interested in taking part and fundraising as a school, please respond to this email and we can discuss further.
We can’t wait to see our Santas out in force this December to spread some sparkle and support the Children’s Air Ambulance!
Warm Regards
Santa’s Little Helpers at Team Mission HQ
Ps. We wish you a very Merry Christmas!
