Learning to read and write
Some of the children in the Coral Reef have progressed to reading short stories called 'Ditties' as part of our daily Read Write Inc Phonics sessions. They have been wowing us with their 'Fred Talk' and blending to help them read to the words. After reading the children have been learning how to write a short sentence linked to the story.
