Explorers Review and Reflect4 December 2022 (by Zoe Goodin (ZoeG)) |
What a fun week we have had with singing, experiments, hands on maths and seeing animations of the Pompeii volcanic eruption to support our historical diary writing.
Explorers have been busy learning fractions in Maths and continuing to practice the bar model method to help solve word problems. We have practiced our songs for the Oxford Lieder concert happening on the 7th of December, not long now! We have enjoyed furthering our understanding of states of matter and reversible and irreversible change and started a new English topic focusing on a historical diary entry based on the events of Pompeii. We also attended the Advent Service at church on Wednesday and were treated to the choirs singing. The choir also attended the Big Sing
Next week we will be ;
