This week in Explorers we have continued our earthquake and Tsunami topic and had the great privilege of listening to Graham and Lynne, who came into to speak to us about their experience in the 2004 Tsunami, which hit the coast of Sri-Lanka.
In English this week we have been practicing writing non-fiction texts, this time it was a newspaper article based on an earthquake event. In Maths we have continued learning about been learning about algebra and decimals, learning how to use algebraic functions formula and improve our knowledge of decimals.

Homework for Year 6’s.
The school has bought SATs practice books. They are very helpful in reviewing content and identifying anything students are struggling on. The following homework has been set for Year 6’s – The books are due back on Tuesday as we use them in class as well.
