What an exciting week we have had in Explorers. The highlight of the week was getting to design and participate in a Robot War! We even got to see a real robot that had been on the TV show Robot Wars. In Maths we have been working on fractions, particularly how they relate to decimals and percentage.

Next week is RE we will be investigating the big question of ‘Does the community of the mosque help Muslims lead better lives?’ and comparing to other religions

Homework – The new homework grid is uploaded on Learn under the ‘after school home learning’ tab.

All students now have access to either Reading Plus or Reading Buddy – each child that uses it over the weekend will receive 5 house points!

Homework for Year 6’s.

The school has bought SATs practice books. They are very helpful in reviewing content and identifying anything students are struggling on. The following homework has been set for Year 6’s – The books are due back on Tuesday as we use them in class as well.
