The best prevention is education!
This afternoon we had a visit from two of our local PCSO's.
They talked us through what County lines is, how people might get involved and the risks to those who take part. They went through how we could spot the signs of people involved, and ways we can help those around us if we spot the signs - most crucially speaking to a trusted adult, and websites where we can find more information.
They followed this with a talk on knife crime, discussing the law and the dangers.
We had chance to ask lots of questions too.
