Oceans weekly Reflect and Review21 April 2023 (by Menna (Menna)) |
What a great first week back! We've started off our new term with a new book (Flood) and have begun to write our own narratives to accompany the wordless text.
In Maths we've been busy filling our gaps and exploring fractions. Topic has been busy this week where we have finished learning about the Water Cycle, writing a non-fiction fact file or text about the water cycle to share with eachother. In PE we've begun our new unit, learning about cricket and country dancing.
Pacific class have led the way in DT by designing and building their own cardboard chairs, Arctic and Indian will follow suit next week so any donations of cardboard will be gratefully received! The bigger, the better!
The new home learning grids and topic webs have gone out today and are available on the website. On Tuesday 16th May we'll be visiting the Cutty Sark in London; the trip letter for which has gone out today - you can pay via Pupil Asset (ideally) or by popping into the office. Please speak to us or email in if you have any questions.
