    Ocean's Weekly Reflect and Review

5 May 2023 (by Menna (Menna))

An interesting, investigative week in Oceans.

This week in topic, we've been busy exploring what trade is and where things come from. We've been busy mapping foods across the world, thinking about where the food on our plates comes from and next week we'll be exploring how the clothes we wear come from all over the world!

In English, we've almost finished retelling the story of Flood and will begin our own versions of the tragic story next week, creating our own.

In Maths, each class has been busy working on their own gaps in maths, focusing on decimals, fractions and calculation. Next week we'll be continuing with filling our gaps and securing our learning.

Thank you to everyone who has paid for the Cutty Sark trip, the children are really looking forward to going on Tuesday 16th May despite the 7:30 departure!

We hope you have a wonderful long weekend and look forward to hearing all about you weekend on Tuesday.

    The Oceans Team.
