This week the children have been thinking about their families. We have thought about who is in our family, what we enjoy doing together and how they help us to feel better when we are feeling sad or worried. We thought about those we love and how we show love to them. We drew wonderful family pictures and made self portraits.
In maths we have developed our understanding of positional language whilst having a go at programming the ‘Bee bot’ to follow our instructions - very tricky!
In literacy we have been using our name cards to practise writing our names and worked hard to hold the pen correctly so we have more control over the marks made. We have continued to enjoy our guiding reading sessions and had music sessions in which we created our own songs and rhymes.
It has been a very busy week and we hope you all have a peaceful and rested weekend. See you all on Monday for another week of fun!
