In our Key groups we have been learning about our school Golden Rules through our Golden Rule stories. 
We had fun learning the words and actions to our first weekly poem called ‘Chop Chop’ I wonder if your child can retell the poem at home? 
We used our gross motor skills in our Squiggle While you Wiggle and Dough Disco sessions and we enjoyed moving to the music! 
Today we went to our first Gatherring with the whole school and the adults were really impressed with our quiet sitting and listening. Beluga Whales group even won the the Thumbs Up award for being in school every day! 
Next week we will continue to learn about our Golden Rules and we will start to think about different emotions and feelings and how we can manage them through our story focus ‘The Colour Monster’ 
On Monday we will begin our Phonics lessons so look out for a home learning sound book that will be sent home, so that children can practise reading and writing the daily sound with you at home.
