This week the children have started to learn the phonics sounds and have been working really hard during our lessons. Learning the sounds will help your child learn how to read and write.
Each child has been given a small, green phonics homework book. We ask that you help your child to practise saying and writing the ‘sound of the day’. We will date the page so you know which sound your child has learnt that day. Children who complete their phonics homework will be rewarded.
