The Pod Weekly reflect and review7 October 2023 (by Sarah Colverson-Martin (Sarah)) |
Another busy week in the Pod.
The children have had another busy week. We have been practicing our large physical development in a range of different ways both inside and out side in the garden. We waved ribbon wands in the wind, used our whole bodies to master the skills needed to climb up the hill and gained lots of confidence riding the bikes and scooting on the scooters.
We have made many cups of tea and carrot soup in the home corner using real ingredients. We borrowed a large saucepan from the kitchen staff. "My Mummy makes soup it's yummy"
The children have been learning to take turns by playing games, listening to instructions and to carry out a simple task. Placing the small banana on to the elephants tummy.
We used tweezers to collect popcorn cornels and cotton wool balls to place into ice cream sundaes, its been just like being at the circus.
We are looking forward to next week when we will be thinking about Autumn.
Have a restful weekend, looking forward to seeing you all next week.
