    Anemones Weekly Reflect and review

20 October 2023 (by Lisa Brown (LisaB))

Another busy week learning new circus skills - how good are you at juggling?

The children had great fun n the garden as they played with the circus equipment; balancing objects, spinning plates, juggling, spinning ribbons and using the stilts! Such a great opportunity for them to practise their large gross motor skills and balance.

In phonics we have completed Aspect 1 on environmental sounds. The children worked hard to develop their listening skills as they identified new sounds within the environment - sound lotto was a favourite!

In maths we have used play dough and numicon to practise and develop counting and number skills, which we will continue to work on next term.

The children took part in a range of art activities from cutting and sticking to mixing paints to make new colours. It has been a busy term and we hope you all have a lovely break.
