This week we have had a focus on road safety, developing conversations, building on previous knowledge and extending their vocabulary around how we stay safe by the roads. They played on bikes and scooters in the garden, we made crossings and children were pretending to be the red and green man! They also played with cars and diggers in the classroom were more conversations were held, building upon their sustained shared thinking. 

In phonics we continued to listen and respond to instrumental sounds, creating new sounds and following increasingly challenging rhythms and patterns. 

In maths we have been matching number and quantity, using numbers up to 3 and enjoying counting songs up to 5.

It has been another busy week but we are excited to share our learning environment with you in the morning for open day - come and play!
