Anemones Weekly Reflect and Review15 December 2023 (by Lisa Brown (LisaB)) |
It has been an amazing week full of Christmas cheer, fun and laughter. The wonderful Christmas dinner was a real treat and we even had a visit from Father Christmas!
The children have taken part in a range of Christmas activities this week and each child created an envelope full of Christmas art to share and spread more joy. We have seen some flashy Christmas jumpers, fantastic Christmas socks and some crazy Christmas hairstyles! Today the children decorated their cakes and enjoyed a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows ~ a real treat!
We have enjoyed playing with Christmas sensory experiences and have created our own Christmas tree play dough! In phonics we have enjoyed sharing Christmas stories and thinking about how we spread joy.
We have talked about staying safe over the heist as holidays; including stranger danger, road safety and running off. It would be a great help if you could continue to reinforce these conversations at home so the children know how they can keep safe out of school.
If you have now finished for the Christmas holidays we wish you a very happy and safe Christmas. For all our children who attend sessions on a Monday, we look forward to seeing you dressed in your pjs or sports wear, ready for our Santa fun run!
