    Anemones Weekly Reflect and review

26 January 2024 (by Lisa Brown (LisaB))

We have been very busy spreading kindness this week as we think about our own super powers and how we help others!

In phonics we have worked hard to develop our understanding of body percussion, moving in different ways to make our own sounds. The children had great fun playing ‘follow my music leader’ around the garden.

In maths we are continuing to learn about positional language as we move the superheroes around the room to save the vegetables! Supertato has had a very busy time keeping an eye on all the moving veggies. We have also been practising our counting skills and matching number and quantity.

In topic we are enjoying our story ‘supertato’ and Have enjoyed a range of activities to help us explore the story further. From frozen vegetable to sticky heroes, it has all been great fun. We have been threading our super bracelets and focused on practising our cutting skills.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you back on Monday morning.
