Circle time in Darwin - how is our learning affected?7 May 2024 (by Beth Taylor (Beth)) |
In circle time today, Darwin looked at how low level behaviours, such as calling out or getting out of your seat, disrupts our learning.
We started with a complete Jenga tower, showing that when we work well together we hold each other up and learn well. When someone talks a block is removed, when someone gets up and walks around a block is removed. Soon we have not got enough blocks learning meaning that the rest of the blocks fall too.
We thought about how we can improve this, and built the tower back up to show that using the strategies to help us as individuals will also help us as a class.
