Anemones Weekly Reflect and review14 June 2024 (by Lisa Brown (LisaB)) |
This week the Anemones class have been busy helping create a wild area in the garden for the birds. They have also been creating their own rivers and lakes in the digging area as they added water to the mud they dug out ‘rivers’ to let the water flow. We have been very creative, making jelly fish, starfish and octopus. They look beautiful.
In phonics we have focused on the letter A. Over the weekend it would be a great benefit to your child if you could help them find objects around the home that begin with A. Next week we will be focusing on the letter S. We have also been sharing stories, talking about them and relating them to our own experiences.
In maths the children have been sorting objects by colour and making marks to show their data. It is all very grown up!
We hope you all have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing everyone back on Monday morning wearing their suncream!
