Dear All,
We are writing to you about plans for the creation of a new SEN base within St Frideswide's School. ODST (the academy trust of which St Frideswide's is a part) is working with Hannah and the governors to develop this provision with a view of it opening in September 2025.
We strongly believe in our vision of meeting all pupils where they are on their learning journey. We think that that an SEN base will allow us to fulfil our vision more effectively by helping to meet the growing need for more specialised support for SEN pupils.
The base will be fully staffed and will involve the redevelopment of currently unused parts of the school building. It will have a set number of places for pupils with social, emotional & mental health needs and issues with communication and language.
