Anemones Weekly Reflect and Review12 July 2024 (by Lisa Brown (LisaB)) |
It has been a wonderful week for the children in our Anemones class, we have had a week of celebration! Today the children took home their certificates and reports to share and we hope you have a lovely weekend celebrating their amazing progress! They have learnt so much and this week we used the opportunity for them to practise their skills by developing their own interests.
In phonics we have focused on the letter P. The children went on a letter hunt to find objects beginning with the letters they have learnt so far this term. In maths we continued to think about mark making for data.
Next week the children will be taking part in transition week. They will move through to the Reception Class on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning to spend time with their new teachers in their new classroom. It is all very exciting! In the afternoon they will come back into the Anemones class if they attend a full day. All children who are moving to new schools will stay in Anemones and attend their set sessions. On Thursday we will be having a party and celebration day. On Friday school closes at 11:30.
Have a lovely weekend and we will see you next week as the children begin their new adventures!
