This week in Oceans we have been preparing to say goodbye and consolidating learning from across the year. This time of year can be tricky for some children to navigate. We’ve discussed the move to a new class / phase and the feelings (excitement and anxiety) which come with change.

We also finished our final piece of writing this week creating our own version of the adventure story Journey, featuring a magic crayon and imaginative outcomes.

On Monday we will welcome the current Year 2s and Year 3s into their new classes. We will meet the children on the playground at 8:10 on Monday morning, heading inside at 8:15.

Note: The current Year 4s will be going swimming on Monday and need to come to school with their swimming kit - black swimwear, black hat and goggles.
