The children have enjoyed getting to know each other and making new friends in the Coral Reef Class this week. We have been very impressed with how confident and settled they have become already. During our morning group times, the children have been getting to know our school's Golden Rules through the Miss Beanie storybooks and we have been praising the children when they have been following them. The children enjoyed their first Karate session with Sensei Chris. We have also had lots of fun dancing to music with our playdough in our 'Dough Disco' sessions. 

Next week we will continue learning about our Golden Rules as well as beginning to think about our emotions and what different emotions might look and feel like. 

Thank you for your patience during drop-off in the morning and at pick-up time in the classroom. Next week we will be encouraging the children to walk into school with their friends from the gate. At the end of the school day please continue to collect your child from the Coral Reef classroom by coming in, through our garden door into our cloakroom.  

Just a reminder that all children need welly boots in school as well as some items of clothing such as knickers/pants, socks, trousers/leggings and tops in case the children get wet or dirty. Children's belongings must be named.
