    The Pod Reflect and review

    15 September 2024 (by Sarah Colverson-Martin (Sarah))

A busy week in the Pod

Well what a week it's been, the children have explored all the area of the nursery and are adjusting to their new environments.

The children have been developing their skills in all area's.

The children have made bear's from the story of 'We're going on a bear hunt' and have been in the garden looking for bears.

We used sensory bottles to represent the different obstacles that the family had to encounter to find the bear.

The 2 year old room read the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three bears' and talked about how Goldilocks made the bears feel eating their porridge and breaking baby bears chair. And how frightened the bears made Goldilocks feel at the end of the story.

Next week we are tasting porridge looking at different sizes of big, small and smallest as we continue to focus on Goldilocks and the three bears. We are hoping that the weather dries out so we can go and collect leaves for leaf printing and making leaf hedgehogs.

Hope you have a great weekend and we look forward to another busy week.

Please remember to reconfirm your funding code.

As the weather is slowly turning cooler and wetter please make sure children have wellies and appropriate clothing, thank you.
