Weekly reflect and review14 October 2024 (by Sarah Colverson-Martin (Sarah)) |
A busy week we had.
Thank you to all the parents that joined us on Tuesday morning at our drop in session. We have had lots of positive feed back and its nice to hear how happy and settled your children are while in our care.
If you would like a playdough recipe please let a member of staff know and we will share these with you. I know some parents have been making it at home.
The Children had a busy week.
In communication and language we looked at the story of the 'Gruffalo' and made our own Gruffalo's using paper plate and paint.
We retold the story of 'The Three little Pigs' by using the puppets and spoon puppets.
We built on strengthen our physical development by making hedgehog shaped bread. We counted how many cups of bread flour we needed and how many cups of water. We talked about the yeast and how this will make the bread rise. The children used pumpkin seeds for the spines of the hedgehog and sultanas for the eyes.
Please make a time slot with your key person for a parent consultation.
We hope you had a nice weekend, this week we are looking at Autumn and different animals that live in the wood, are they nocturnal or diurnal.
Thank you for all your continued support. The Pod team.
