This week the children have explored lots of different natural materials both inside and outside giving them the opportunity to be curious and investigate features of the natural world. This building on their own knowledge and understanding of the world around them. 

The children have been learning new songs about leaves, conkers and pumpkins, we are going to continue to learn these next week too. Building on the children's listening and attention skills and enjoyment of singing and action rhymes.

This week the children have been mark making with various sensory materials they have used different body parts as well as mark making tools. 

We wish you all a very happy weekend, a reminder that next week is the last week before half term. Nursery will be closed from Monday 28th October and reopen on Wednesday 6th November.  

Please remember wellies, coats and warm clothes.
