What a lot of mess
This week the children have taken part in lots of sensory play with natural ingredients and objects. The orange edible paint was thoroughly enjoyed! Plenty of vitamin C was consumed.
The children have explored the different treasure baskets, the brush basket being a favourite. We have used language of soft, hard, prickly and spikey. We have thought about how we would use and what uses the different brushes have.
The children have been using dry sand to make marks and have commented on the marks they have made. Some of the children used hands and fingers while others used the mark making tools.
We have wrapped up warm and discovered ice and fog in the garden, frozen sand makes building a sandcastle very challenging.
We look forward to seeing lots of you tomorrow at our open morning 9-11 we have lots of activities planned for you to take part in.
Have a lovely weekend and we will see you tomorrow or next week. Thanks The Pod Team
