That felt like a very long week! Our trip into London to the Royal Opera House was definitely the culprit. But what a fabulous experience. Everyone, children and adults, were amazed by the production of Cinderalla. The show, and the children’s engagement and behaviour, was brilliant. The first act induced gasps of awe and wonder, bringing some children to their feet, as the fairy godmother’s magic lit up the stage and moved the scenery. A tiring trip to the ballet, but well worth it!

On Monday it’s our turn to perform. Many of you have already told us you're coming: we love to see as many friends and family as possible. Spread the word!

Doors open: 13.00.
Performance: 13.15 - 14.00.

On Monday all children need a packed lunch as we will rehearsing at the Sheldonian before the performance. If your child is entitled to a school meal, lunch will be provided. We’ll be heading into Oxford on the bus, so please ensure your child comes to school appropriately dressed.

Children can be collected directly from the show. Everyone else will head back to school for normal pick up.

In school this week we’ve completed our autumn assessments while planning or writing our final piece of non-fiction writing. In maths we continue to focus on multiplication. Please support our child to learn times tables as they are a vital building block of mathematical knowledge throughout school. For maths, we also had a visit from ‘Magical Maths’ a new after school club.
