    The Pod reflect and review

    17 February 2025 (by Sarah Colverson-Martin (Sarah))

What a busy term we have had.

Over the last few weeks the children have taken part in lots of different activities.

We have celebrated Chinese New Year making a snake, singing songs about snakes, lots of noodle play and mark making in red sand. The children served the adults in the Chinese restaurant we looked at the different types of writing and practiced using chop sticks.

We have continued to look at artic animals and the cold weather. Rescuing the trapped animals from the ice.

In the garden we have played 'What's the time Mr wolf' building on our number knowledge, we have used the parachute to build on our gross movement and keep us warm.

We have taken part in lots of messy play, with paint, shaving foam and gloop.

As this term come to a close we are very sad to be saying goodbye to both Kimberley and Pamela, but pleased to welcome Kathy as she joins the team.

Pamela will be joining the Anemone class which will continue to support her development while undertaking her level 5 in Early Lead Practitioner. We wish Kimberley all the best as she leaves to go on maternity leave, she is under strict instructions to let us know when he arrives.

Hope you all have a fab week and see you all on Tuesday 25th as Monday is staff training.
