As writers, Endeavour have been working hard on completing their sentence stacking of Running Wild and have started writing their own plans for their independent write next week. Beagle have been working on descriptions of settings and planning our own versions of Sand Wizards, to be able to write our versions next week. 

As mathematicians, Beagle have been developing their understanding of decimals and percentages while  Endeavour have been converting decimals into percentages and solving word problems with them.

As artists, Year 5 have begun or continued to create their 3D models, using collage to add detail, carefully selecting which colours, shapes and materials for effect, 

We would like to thank our year 6 children for their perseverance during their final Mock sats week. The scores will be shared with the children and together we will go through the papers, ready for them to go home at the end of the term. Please continue to support your child to complete their homework and engage in daily reading.  

Next Week:

Next week is assessment week for Year 5 -  we will be completing our spring assessments during the week, ready for them to go home at the end of the term. 

On Friday, Discovery class will have an amazing opportunity to watch the Chrissie and the Skiddle Witch show, presented by Geologise Theatre. The show will take place at school during the morning followed by a workshop in the afternoon. We are already excited about what the day will look like!
