Explorers reflect and review4 April 2025 (by Beth Taylor (Beth)) |
A week of RE to end the Spring term.
As Theologians:
This week we’ve been thinking about the question ‘is anything ever eternal’, exploring the question through the lens of the Christian faith and sharing their own beliefs and understanding. We have thought about what in our world might last forever, looked at New Testament texts and explored how love and forgiveness are shown and how these lead to Christian beliefs in eternal life.
As mathematicians:
Endeavour and Beagle have been investigating perimeter and area of rectangles and compound shapes.
Discovery has been working on shape, looking at all different types of angles, using protractors to measure.
Next term:
Term starts on Tuesday 22nd April.
During the summer term we will be focusing on Earthquakes as part of our ongoing topic: “Disaster Zones or Beautiful Biomes?”
We hope you all have a restful break and a wonderful Easter.
