    What a busy week!

Explorers have been busy this week answering the question ‘Is Christianity still a strong religion after 2000 years?’. We’ve explored how Christianity has shaped the UK over the past centuries and the impact on society today. We’ve investigated Christianity around the world and have described our life in the UK to a pen pal.

In Maths, Year 5 have been working on position and direction, exploring coordinates and symmetry.

We were privileged this week to have been given a book voucher each to use at our pop up book store. Every child has been given the opportunity to select their own, brand new book.

As part of our transition process, Year 6 move into “St Fred’s High” for the last term at St Frideswide. This transition will take place after half term. This will begin to prepare them for secondary school. A letter has gone home today explaining all the details of what this will look like, alongside the children’s new timetable.

    Swimming update:

The pool have implemented different procedures for the changing rooms at swimming, therefore all children should come to school "beach ready" with their kit on under their school PE kit each Monday. Thank you.
