Many children would like to ride their bikes or scooters to school but they or their carers don’t think it’s safe.
One option is a Bike Bus – that is, a group of adults and children who cycle together on a specific route, stopping along the way to pick up more children.
Cyclox are offering to support a trial bike bus to your school so adults and children alike can find out what it’s like.
On Thurs 26 June Cyclox will hand out information to parents at the school gates after school.
On Mon 30 June (the following Monday) they will meet at Florence Park near the cafe after school and explain how a bike bus works and answer any questions.
On Friday 4 July they will cycle from Florence Park to school .
