This week we have continued to focus on exploring friendship and the many forms it takes.  

In English we have practicing different ways to punctuate speech and begun to explore the playscript genre.

In Maths we have introduced some new times tables (please do practice at home) and continued to embed crossing the 10s border in subtraction.  Several children have gone "up" in their CLICs, well done!

Our topic work on WW2 has continued with links to geography - finding out about battleships and then using co-ordinates to play battleships.  If you want to do this at home use the link below! We've also begun to look at maps with a view to planning our own battles next week.

Also next week we are looking forward to swimming once again, please check your child has full swimming kit, including goggles and cap, we have these in the office if needed.
