This week the children in Rockpool Class had the most wonderful time in our musical therapy session. The guitar was a great hit! We sang along and played the drums! The children were completely engaged as they began to move to the music, play instruments and explore new sounds. We can't wait to enjoy our next session on Monday.

In phonics we have been busy learning about the letter sound 'S', next week we will focus on the sound 'd'. We have been singing our jolly phonics songs, learning new words that begin with the letter sound and enjoyed reading new words.

In maths we are continuing to develop our understanding of number. We are working on 1 more or 1 less than a given number and are beginning to add single numbers together. 

Next week we are going to be making snowman biscuits! As the weather is changing please send your child to school with a warm waterproof coat, hat and gloves, a change of clothes and shoes would also be welcomed as sometimes the children arrive to school wet on those rainy days.
