Term 5 Week 6
We have had a great half term and the children have enjoyed lots of opportunities to develop their social communication and interaction skills, particularly with the addition of two new class members in Coots and Liam teaching in Moorhens. Everyone has settled in really well, and it has been lovely to see the children building new relationships and adapting positively to these changes.
There has been lots of exciting learning through our Amazing Places and Spaces topic, including work around transport, gardens, homes, families and friends. The children particularly enjoyed thinking about what makes a home an amazing space and had great fun designing and making dens together. We have been especially pleased with the progress the children have made in Maths this half term.
Moorhens have also really enjoyed their Forest School sessions, and of course there has been plenty more cooking and baking across the provision too.
Thank you for your continued support throughout the term. We hope you all have a lovely holiday next week, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for Term 6, hopefully with some sunshine!
Don't forget after half term we will be sharing news with you via a different app, Juniper Education, which you can download from your app store. Look out for an email inviting you to join coming soon.
