Rockpool Weekly Reflect and Review22 May 2026 (by Lisa Brown (LisaB)) |
Happy holidays to you all!
The Rockpool Class ahve had a wonderful week. We have been focused on introducing new routines for children that will support new learning adventures after half term. We have moved the room around together so that the children are able to access areas more successfully as the construction area was certainly in need of more space! The observations fro this week allow us to read the children's interest and use these to support the learning environemnt. After half term we will be supporting the children with new challenges ready for their transition week.
We are meeting with the families of all children as it is really important that you are also part of helping us to provide the best learning opportunities for your children. After half term these meetings will be offered on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday morning 8:30-9:00. Please don't worry, we will mkake sure we meet with everyone so we can share the specific transition plan we have prepared to meet your childs needs. At the end of the year we will also invite you all for a stay and play session so you can see the classroom environmnet your child will be in from Septemebr as they move into their new year group.
Rules, Routines and Relationships are key in helping all children to feel settled and safe in school. After half term we will be focusing on the school rules, building upon our emotional literacy and developing our physical skills through dance!
Please can we ask that all children arrive each day with all day sun cream applied, a hat that has their name in and a labelled water bottle.
We hope you all have a wonderful half term and enjoy the sun!
