Yesterday we began playing the shape game, created by Anthony Browne. This is where you start with a random squiggle or shape and turn it into a piece of art. We have had so many amazing ideas, turning our shape into everything from flowers to cars.
First we drew our ideas very carefully, thinking about how our shapes could be turned into our pictures. Today we began to paint them. We only had red, blue, yellow, white and black paint to begin with. We discussed how to make other colours using what we had.
