The children used their designs to create their first first stone bridges. They thought about what could have been better and what improvements they could make before recreating their stone bridge with an arch to support their structure. 

Next week the children will be exploring what it is like to be castle restorers through mantle of the expert. They will be stepping into the role and thinking about what like would have been like in the olden days. 

We will also be carrying out various science investigations. We will be making predications, carrying out the investigations and then evaluating our findings. Please remember to send in your tin cans and teabags.
