Islands Reflect and Review23 June 2023 (by Lauren Arbour (Lauren)) |
This week we have been investigating and interpreting the past, in this case looking at what schools were like at different stages in time. We asked adults questions about what school was like when they attended primary school and compared their answers.
Some of the children harvested our planters and took home a variety of spinach, lettuce and rocket to enjoy in a salad. We even had the pleasure of Menna from Oceans coming to share her knowledge of growing vegetables. We look forward to the pictures of children creating delicious meals with their harvested goods.
Next week the children will be investigating whether objects are living or non-living, in this case we will be using things we see on our trip. We will first be thinking about what might see and ask and answer questions in small groups.
Have a great weekend,
Islands Team
