Islands Weekly Reflect and Review8 December 2023 (by Lauren Arbour (Lauren)) |
This week, Islands have worked incredibly hard prepping for our show ‘Captain Cat and the Carol Singers’.
As musicians this week, we have composed music, played our instruments, practised our singing and actions together. We worked with Trev to ensure all of the skills we have learnt in our wonderful music lessons are being used to make this show spectacular.
Our show will be performed on Wednesday 13th December at St Mary & St John Church, Cowley Rd, Oxford OX4 1UH at 10:00am.

This December we are supporting Helen & Douglas House Children’s Hospice, by hosting a DIY Santa Fun Run.
Helen & Douglas House helps local families cope with the challenges of looking after a terminally ill baby or child who will die prematurely.
Each year Helen & Douglas House need to raise over £4m to care for terminally ill children, this Christmas the care Helen & Douglas House provide will not only help families with the practicalities of caring for an ill child, but enable them to make magical, lasting memories.
We are delighted to be supporting them this year and thank you for contributing.
Thank you for your continued support,
Islands team
