This week we have spent the week consolidating learning from across the year! We were blown away at just how much the children could remember. They were so proud of the knowledge they had and how excited Zenith was when they answered her questions with confidence. 

We have talked about change and how it can be a little scary sometimes. We shared our feelings in our circle times and were respectful of each other and our contributions. 

We were incredibly sad to say goodbye to Zenith as she ended her teaching in Islands with this year’s 1 and 2 cohort. She will always be in our St Frideswide family and we love her very much and wish her all the best in her journey wherever it takes her. 

We were excited to welcome Ellen and Stefan into our St Frideswide family as they begin their ECT years in Islands. We have spent the week getting to know them and look forward to you getting to know them too! 

Monday 15th July- 

We will welcome the current Reception and Year 1s into their new classes. We will meet the children on the playground at 8:10 on Monday morning, heading inside at 8:15. Please ensure your child is on time so that they can learn the route into class.
