Islands Weekly Reflect and Review11 October 2024 (by Lauren Arbour (Lauren)) |
This week we continued to enjoy our chicks as they became very energetic and full of life!
Key Information:
Trip to Eastrop Farm and Coleshill Vegetable Unit
Monday 14th October- Tahiti and Year 2 Sumatra Children
Tuesday 15th October- Fiji and Year 1 Sumatra Children
Your child will need to be at school by 8:10am, if your child does not arrive on time, unfortunately we will leave without them as we cannot delay our departure time. You will need to drop your child off at the main gates as normal as they will go inside to use the toilet/safety briefing before leaving promptly.
We will be travelling by coach and aim to arrive back at school at 3:30. We will keep you informed on the day via school jotter if this is due to change. Please ensure your child has a coat and wellies so that they are suitably dressed for the weather and in school uniform- it is very muddy at the farm!
If you did not book a school packed lunch please ensure your child has their packed lunch with them, preferably in a disposable bag. It is helpful if they have a water bottle that can be thrown away as we will be moving around all day.
If you are a parent helper- please arrive at 8:00 so that you have time to read and sign the risk assessment.
Friday 25th October - NON- UNIFORM day. Donations of £1 to raise money for our wonderful attendance rewards and certificates.
School Dinners-
If your child is on our school records as vegetarian, they will not be able to have fish fingers unless you update their file to include fish. Please email office@stfrideswides.co.uk to update your child’s records.
