The children have settled quickly back into school and have shown that they are ready to learn. This term our topic is Wild Things.
This week Explorers have been looking at living things and habitats in science, developing first person narratives in English and have begun our maths unit on perimeter, area and volume.
Oceans have had a busy week learning all about rivers both in topic and English.
Being in school every day makes a difference, It's important!
This week in our maths lessons we have been writing a number sentence. We have used the correct symbols and have tried very hard with our number formation. We then worked out the answer using our fingers.
Today we have been looking at different features on maps of imaginative lands and thinking about the story setting in our focus text ‘Where the Wild Things Are’
This week in Explorers, Discovery and Endeavour class got to experience a DNA science workshop.. It was RE week this week and all teachers have been impressed with the level of discussion.
