This week in Explorers we have started our new topic on earthquakes, with a particular focus on the 2011 earthquake off the coast of Japan.
Despite a short week we have managed to pack a lot of learning in. The children have shown huge amounts of enthusiasm for our new topic 'Frozen Planet'
Oceans started the year with the big question - are holy journeys necessary for believers?
We learned about earthquakes and tsunamis this week, where they are located, why they happen, how they happen, and their aftermath on both the landscape and the people most affected.
Our new lunchtime menu is going down a storm!
We had a exciting start to our topic and enjoyed watching Snow Babies on the big screen as we snuggled in our blankets and sleeping bags and drank hot chocolate.
Thank you for helping us spread joy to others in our community.
Being in school every day makes a difference, it’s important!
