  Wow! What a busy week in Oceans! This week we've been exploring different famous buildings and recreating them in different artistic styles.

  As part of our Egyptian exploration, today we found out about mummification.
• Measuring Area in Oceans
  We learnt a definition of area before comparing areas of shapes.
• Oceans inter house Golf and Gymnastics competition!
  This term we have been working hard in PE in the Oceans Phase. We have been learning how to play golf and different jumps and stances in Gymnastics. Today we counted all the house points together and found out the winners... Carmel!

  This week in Oceans we've been learning about the diversity of communities within Oxford. We used 2011 government census data to analyse the diversity within Oxford and how it has changed since 2001.
