  This week we have continued to explore Antarctica. We looked at some videos and pictures and used words to describe it. We talked about how it is different from where we live.

  We have been working really hard on our handwriting in class. We are making sure we are holding our pencils correctly to form our letters.

  The children in Rockpool were very excited to collect the award today, for 100% attendance all week. Well done Rockpool!

  Mantle of the Expert In Islands
  In Islands we are learning about ‘Extreme weather’.  We are using Mantle of Expert to take on the role of a natural disaster assistant.

  Today we have been looking at different fossils. Nikki was very kind and let us look at her fossils then we had a go at making our own.
