Antarctica Experience We had a exciting start to our topic and enjoyed watching Snow Babies on the big screen as we snuggled in our blankets and sleeping bags and drank hot chocolate.

Christmas cake making This morning the children made Christmas cakes. We have been exploring the story the rascally cake this week but luckily we only put delicious ingredients in our cakes today!
Performance ready We have been busy practising our Nativity show Shine, Star, Shine and we are ready to get into our costumes for our dress rehearsal tomorrow morning!
Being scientists Today in Coral Reef we have been testing different cleaning materials, including soap flakes, bubble bath, hand sanitiser to find out which will get Sarah from the Pod's cloths the cleanest.
Being Illustrators We have been thinking about the Winnie The Witch stories and on our art table we have been drawing pictures in the style of author and illustrator Korky Paul. We learnt what an illustrator is.
Coral Reef Weekly reflect and review We have managed to pack so much into just three school days this week.... we have been continuing to learn the songs for our Christmas Nativity on the 12th of December and we are so impressed by the children’s performing skills already!
Message centre Our writing area has had a revamp this week and the children have been getting busy writing messages using symbols, numbers and letters for their friends.
