  The children have had another busy week in the Coral Reef. This week we have been thinking about the story What's in the Witch's Kitchen'

  This morning some of the children visited our local Library

  What a brilliant start to the new term we have had, the children have returned rested and ready to learn. This week our book focus has been the wonderful story 'Room on the Broom'.

  This morning some of our children enjoyed a lovely visit to the library. We enjoyed looking at the books and listening to stories.
• Coral Reef Reflect and Review
  Our story focus has been Hansel and Gretel this week and the children were excited by a house made of sweets that had appeared in our curiosity cube! Our Home Corner had also been turned into a house made of sweets.
• Rockpool
  In Rockpool we have been looking at different number sequences.
• Coral Reef Weekly Reflect and Review
  Our adventure through traditional tales continued this week and on Monday we discovered that a Gingerbread Man and his friends had been caught on camera visiting our classroom over the weekend!

  This week the children have been captivated by the traditional story 'The magic Porridge Pot' some of the children included elements of the story in their own storytelling and role playing.
